Christine is an Oregon girl making wine, selling wine, writing wine, and of course, drinking wine. She graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Entrepreneurship. To expand her wine knowledge more formally, Christine has completed Court of Master Sommelier courses and exams, and is now starting the WSET Advanced Level. During her senior year of college she worked as the Social Marketing Coordinator for one of Oregon's largest wineries where she used her millennial status and online savviness to pioneer new ways to connect with consumers and trade. Most recently, Christine has teamed up with her winemaker boyfriend to launch their own wine brand, God King Slave Wines. Christine currently works as the Director of Marketing & Events at Troon Vineyard in the Applegate Valley.

Christine collects hobbies. This blog is one of them. Some of the others include hiking, fashion, photography, reading, and playing board games.

Chris graduated with an Oenology degree from the Northwest Viticulture Center in Salem, Oregon and is now working at Folin Cellars in the Sam's Valley. He was exposed to the wine industry as a young kid when he watched the bottling machine at his family's boutique Southern Oregon winery. He was always eager to help, but it took years of exploration in other areas before he came back to the realization that wine was his passion. Chris is the winemaker for God King Slave Wines and has worked a vintage in New Zealand's Marlborough region for The Ned.

Outside of wine, Chris enjoys road trips, photography, hiking, and cycling.
