Winemakers Herb Quady of Quady North Winery and Rob Folin of Folin Cellars battle it out "Iron Chef" style this Saturday, June 2nd at 2 pm at Folin Cellars in Gold Hill.
Will Rob have home court advantage? Will Herb crush the competition with his meat-centric pal?
Herb Quady and Chef Neil Clooney from Smithfields in Ashland and Rob Folin and Chef Chad Smith of Elements in Medford will go head-to-head in a 3-course cook off. Each of the 3 rounds will include a basket of mystery ingredients from which the team will have to create a culinary masterpiece in a set time frame. A panel of judges will be drawn from the audience to judge each course. Winner takes all.
Admission is $25 for Folin Cellars or Quady North Wine Club Members and $30 for General Public. Entry includes gourmet charcuterie and cheeses and 2 glasses of wine. Space is limited to the first 100 guests.
