Every year Memorial Day weekend is marked on my calendar as a wine holiday as it gives the opportunity to jaunt around wine country trying all the newly released wares. Naturally, I was very pleased to see that a group of wineries, recognizing the importance of the momentous weekend, decided to make it easier on us and have banded together to create an all inclusive tasting event!
Roam The Rogue will take place on Saturday, May 29th from 11 a.m. til 5 p.m. Included in the $20 ticket price is a commemorative Reidel glass, appetizers, and tastings of the new wines at all 8 participating wineries. The participating wineries are all located in the Upper Rogue Valley and are Agate Ridge Vineyard, Cliff Creek Cellars, Crater Lake Cellars, Daisy Creek Vineyard, Del Rio Vineyard, Folin Cellars, Madrone Mountain Vineyard, and RoxyAnn Winery.
